Day 16-17: Vocabulario – Los Adjetivos y Nacionalidades Los Adjetivos y Los Números

Today is Day 17. You should have a long list of vocabulary words copied into your notebook or on flashcards—whatever helps you learn best. This applies to Days 18 & 19 for definite and indefinite articles.

This week, there will have a very brief quiz on the new words in Days 16-19. Study and be ready! We will also go over last week’s quiz (which was more like a test, but that’s okay). This is a chance for anyone who didn’t do as well as they would have liked to on last week’s quiz to bring their grade up. It will be an oral quiz to allow those of us who work better orally to shine🌞

We will skip Days 20-24.
(I think I can hear the roar of 16 people celebrating 💃🕺🏻🎉🎈

We will learn Day 25 in class this Thursday.
There will be a presentation based on Day 27 (a description of yourself in Spanish) due Oct 4 which we will discuss in class this Thursday.

Looking ahead, there will be NO CLASS OCTOBER 18 & 25 during which you will be working with a buddy online or over the phone on Days 30-44–helping eachother study, practicing with eachother, etc.

Nov 1: Quiz#3 and two assignments from Days 37-41 and Day 43 are also due.

First Quarter Grades will be available Nov 8.

Again, I want to congratulate you brave people who are learning this new language for the first time!!! I know this has been a challenge and you have risen to that challenge 🏅
Remember, you goal is to LEARN SPANISH so you can USE IT in the future for whatever circumstance God might have in store for you. See you Thursday. 💌
